Science and Snowflakes

Tessa here, bundled up and missing the Texas heat. BUT! I have a super cool video this week about snowflakes and the story behind awesome photographs such as THESE:

And here’s this week’s video:

So here is the deal people, I am a kindergarten teaching assistant. I came across the story of “Snowflake” Bentley after I picked a random children’s book off the shelf, and started reading this super adorable children’s book to my kids.

As I was trying not to cry like a baby at the sheer amazingness of this guy making his soul purpose his B$%&*@, I was utterly moved and had to make an episode about it.

Did anyone else think this guy is just the bee’s knees? Love it.

Wanna see the birth of a snowflake?

Check it out here.

Hope this inspires y’all to get up and DO what it is that makes your soul TICK. If you are living your life for your next paycheck or vacation, it’s time for a refresher. Take a bath, relax, do something that calms your mind. Out of this calm serenity go into yourself, and ask yourself, “What do I want out of life?” Then ask yourself, “What makes me happy?”

Whatever you answer, start making moves towards achieving that goal today. Your happiness won’t just drop out of the sky. You need to make active moves towards it. And only you can do this, nobody else. And you are in control- don’t fall victim to victimization. Change what you can, and don’t stress about what you can’t. That’s a great place to start.
